It has been so much fun telling you about our great programming and ranting about bike politics each week. The fun has been so overwhelming that we haven’t really updated you about our Retail Service Center in a while.
Well, for those of you that haven’t been here before in the winter or aren’t from the great white north, it may not seem like much but – we finally have heat in our retail service center.
What that really means is we built a sort of greenhouse around our workshop where the heat is contained for our workers. Affording to heat a small space is one thing, affording to heat our whole retail service center with all of it’s leaks and front door opening all the time would be another thing. Baby steps though my friends. If we continue to do well, over the years our building will continually get better.
This improvement isn’t done at the expense of our programming though. We continue to do well with our programming and in the coming months you will see an improvement to the bathroom in the Back Alley Bikes space. Keep an eye out for that.
Finally, we get many questions about our Retail Service Center through calls and emails. To answer some of those questions and to just get the word out we made a sort of “commercial” for the shop. Check it out and pass it around:
