How To Get to Back Alley Bikes

The Hub of Detroit (our retail bike shop) is located at 3611 Cass Ave. We are directly across from the Cass & MLK stop on the 16 Dexter bus line or a block east from the Woodward and Mack Qline stop, and there is metered parking available on Cass Ave in front of the shop.

The entrance to the Community Workshop at Back Alley Bikes is behind the Hub of Detroit, in the alley between MLK Blvd and Brainard St. There is a parking lot off Brainard St, and unmetered parking is available along Brainard. We are one block east of Woodward Ave and immediately north of MLK Blvd. During Back Alley Bikes programming hours the gates to the courtyard between the parking lot and the back alley will be unlocked. There is currently construction underway in the lot adjacent to our building, please be respectful of construction workers while visiting the workshop!
