Have you always wondered about the mysterious art of wheel building?
Have you mastered every other component of the bike, but remain mystified but those spinning discs that make your bike “go”?
Well, you’re in luck, because this fall starting Friday, October 25th, Back Alley Bikes is going to teach you to build wheels! Our very own master wheel builder, Darrin Brouhard, will be instructing the art of wheel building. All parts will be provided.
The cost of the class is $200
(which includes a set of CR18 rims, new spokes and nipples, and shimano tiagra hubs, the rear hub having a 7 speed cassette.)
The wheels can be customized for size and use (i.e. single speed or track hubs), though depending on your needs this may add to the expense of the class.
