You might have heard about our Progressive Dinner by Bicycle rides we have been doing. In 2011 we had our first ever. It went pretty good so we had two the next year and this year we decided to have three of them.
These rides consist of riding around the city at a nice leisurely pace. Ever few miles we stop, eat food, hang out for a bit and then we move along to the next stop. Bicycles are great and so is food. So it is a win win for all.
Anyway, our last ride of the year is coming up on Sunday September 15th. You can register online right now for the ride. You will need to register in advance so we can prepare for enough people. Registration closes on September 9th.
So why should you register for the ride? I’ve got a few reasons:
- Proceeds from the ride will go toward taking some of our young folks to the Youth Bike Summit in New York City next winter.
- We’ll be returning to the Brooklyn St Local (we visited them in May)
- We will be visiting Detroit Vegan Soul at their new location in West Village.
- Scott and Bobbie Sue Grenerth will be making dessert again (this will be their fourth time providing dessert and fifth time providing food for the ride)
- You’ll get to ride bikes with some of the nicest people in the Detroit bike community and eat a bunch of great food!
Did you need that registration link one more time?
