Hey ya’ll,
Word has hit us that you think our shop is really cool. Thank you, we appreciate it. We’ve also heard that if you get a job here that suddenly you become as hip as Shayne O’Keefe. That might be a stretch being that Shayne is Detroit’s premier hip cycling, rock ‘n rolling, vegan but I’m sure you could try and a job at The Hub might help you.**

So back to being serious…
The Hub of Detroit IS HIRING RIGHT NOW!
What are we looking for at The Hub? Well Darrin didn’t send me a job description, but mentioned that we need salespeople currently.  So even if you aren’t a master mechanic, feel free to apply.  If you are good with people, cash registers, bikes and helping those three things come together, then this job is for you.
This job would start as a part time position with possibility of additional hours once the summer comes around and we need more work to be done.  This position would start in March and go through September.  Additional work may be available depending on how business goes into the fall.

How do I apply? You can deliver a resume or fill out an application at The Hub during their business hours (Tues-Sat 10am-6pm / Sun 12pm-6pm) or you can email a resume to Darrin (at) thehubofdetroit.org
(that is his email address, just change “(at)” to “@” and eliminate those spaces)
Applications need to be in by the end of February

Are there any other qualifications? We are looking for all different types of folks. Preferably we are looking for folks a little older with some work experience.  You are you are a high school student looking to work here, you may want to check out our Mechanic-in-Training program.

You got more questions about the job? Give The Hub a call at 313.833.0813 and ask to speak with Darrin or stop in during business hours.

**Okay, so I’m just poking fun at Shayne, we aren’t that pretentious that we think we are cooler than you for working here. But this is a pretty fun place to work so ya know, I like to keep our web updates on the lighter side. Plus, check out how cool Shayne looks…

That look is called “Blue Steel”
