Hello Everyone,
I have some schedule changes to let you know about. This means more ways to get involved and one day of canceled programming.

Sunday, June 12th
On Sunday, June 12th we will have a wonderful group of Boy Scouts coming in to volunteer their time and paint our workshop. This is a really great opportunity, but it means that we will need to cancel our Adult Mechanics Class and Ally Time.
We don’t need any more volunteers because the Boy Scouts took care of that for us. We’ll see all our students and allies the next week on the 19th!

Saturday, June 18th
I told you about this date in our last email. There are three things going on: Youth Bike Give-a-Way, Colin Hubbel Ride and our own Youth Ride.
Youth Bike Give-a-Way: Do you know how to raise and lower seats and handlebars? Then this is for you. We are giving away as many kids bikes as we can from 10am-2pm on this day. We’ll need to help fit the kids to the bikes, check their vouchers and help get the bikes downstairs. We’ve had two folks sign up so far, let me know if you want to join them!
Colin Hubbel Ride: We need people to help “sweep” this ride. No one has stepped up to help out. We need five folks to help with this. Do you know how to fix a flat? Get at me if you want a free t-shirt, food and good times.
Youth Ride: On June 18th we are having our second Youth Ride of the summer. Our first ride was small but very successful. We had a handful of youth show up and ride with some of our volunteers. The ride was led by Joey and I hear that everyone had a great time. You want to join? Meet in the back alley around 3pm (RSVPing doesn’t hurt either).

Wednesday, June 22nd
We have decided that once school gets out, our second Youth Earn-a-Bike day will be on Wednesdays. So if you want to volunteer more during the week you now can. Staring the 22nd and going the rest of summer we will be having Youth Earn-a-Bike on Wednesdays.
Let me know if you can help out on Wednesdays. These days will be for Youth who have already started bikes and just need some time to finish up their projects. It will be a little more laid back than our Saturdays.

Alright, orientation starts in 30 minutes and tomorrow is volunteer time plus a meeting.

See you all soon!
