The Sidewinder was Schwinn’s first mountain bike. Mountain bikes are designed for off road antics: screaming down hills, bunny hopping over logs, smashing into trees & so forth. Back home it’s fun to jump off of curbs & go airborne from ramps, but don’t do it! We at the Hub strongly discourage this kind of reckless activity, because it’s dangerous & also very hard on your frame, even though it’s a total blast. So ride carefully. Bike tricks are super fun, especially on a bike like this, but you really shouldn’t, because you could really hurt yourself & damage the bike, just for a fleeting moment of really awesome exhilaration, so totally worth it. But don’t.
