This Thursday starts North American Bicycle Week; an event put together by Detroit Bike City. Click on that North American Bicycle Week link above to check out the full schedule of everything happening and get involved! There has to be at least one event you want to attend.
How we’ll be playing a part.
Detroit Bike City asked us to teach a mechanic class on Friday as part of the week of events. So Friday, March 28th at 3:30pm we’ll be providing an introductory class on flat fixing and bike diagnosis. This two hour class will go over the basics of your bike with plenty of hands on experience. Come and by and get ready to get your hands dirty!
Of course we’ll also have a table at the expo at Cobo Hall on Saturday, March 29th so come by and say hello! We’ll have plenty of info at our table about upcoming events, you can purchase a Back Alley Bikes t-shirt or maybe even score a really rare bicycle. What will we have at our table? Maybe a super-light 20″ wheeled Redline, some 22″ wheeled Schwinns and other goodies. Come on by! Or at least go to the expo for all the other folks that will be there. It is going to be a good time, trust us:
