So I’ve been telling you about the Safe Streets Youth Ride happening this Saturday right? Well, let me tell you again. This Saturday at 12pm noon we will be meeting up with our Youth Earn-a-Bike students from the past year and going for a ride. We’ll get back around 3pm to have a BBQ afterwards.
This BBQ is going to be great and so is the ride because we’ll have a very special guest with us, John Tre’vor (JT). JT recently went on a bike tour to talk to kids around the country about ending violence. He is bringing peace to our youth from Detroit. Just spreading it around as much as he can. JT is a really hard worker and we are super glad he has put us on his schedule. So check him out.
What you also need to know about this Saturday is that since we’ll be out riding with the kids, there will be no Youth Earn-a-Bike happening. Our programming space will be closed ’cause we’ll be out riding!
Have no fear though, Youth Earn-a-Bike will continue on September 8th as regularly scheduled.
